When we moved into our new construction home, the house came equipped with a Ring Video Doorbell camera which was a major upgrade from our previous home. The camera features:
Two way talk feature - You don't have to be home to talk to anyone who shows up to your house and even if you are home and you talk through the app
Camera and Video Quality - For people like us who love to hide from solicitors, this makes it good for you to see them through our app and pretend like you're not home. The quality is great at day and ok at night. At night, there is a light which comes on and illuminates who is within the field.
Motion detection - Very very sensitive. When we just set up the app, we would get frequent notifications that were just cars driving by or neighbors walking their pets. We quickly figured that you could set specific zones/fields to drastically reduce the number of notifications we were getting.
Disclaimer - I love the feature which warns people who come up to the front door that they are being recorded. I feel this helps to ward off unwanted quests.
Design - The sleek design fits right into the aesthetic of our home.
Overall, I would give the Ring Video Doorbell Camera a 9/10.
Because we loved the Ring Video Doorbell so much, we purchased a few of Ring's other products.

Battery Life - We placed this camera on our backyard which has very little movement. The battery lasts about 3 months before needing to be recharged. If you do decide to place at the front of your home, the camera comes with a 2nd battery compartment which allows you to extend the battery life. Just so we are clear, the camera only comes with 1 battery; you will have to purchase the 2nd one separately but you can setup both at the same time.
Camera quality - In the day it is also good. The color night vision is decent.
Lights - Really bright lights which lights up our back patio pretty well and part of a backward
Security Siren - The siren is really loud. In case of emergencies
Overall, I would give the Ring Spotlight Cam Plus, Battery a 8/10. Points were taken off for the color night vision.
The 2 products below, we have the same sentiment on. However, we found that due to the sensitivity of the stick up cam and us placing at the front of our home, we had to charge the battery too often, so we added the solar panel connection which has been AWESOME!!!

Overall, we have loved Ring products so far and would highly recommend for their sleek designs, affordability and reliability.
